Water Baptism and Holy Spirit Baptism

Holy Spirit Baptism is what makes one a Christian. It is essential to salvation. One cannot be saved or be a 'christed' Christian, at all, without it!
Holy Spirit Baptism is The Whole point of the Great Commission. It is not the cleansing but the empowering that is important.

At all the end stages of the Gospels, on into Acts, the call is to go out, preaching the gospel both to nonbelievers and to the remnant of Judah, the jews. (For 'jew' is just a nickname for one tribe alone: Judah. The other tribes of full Israel were largely lost in the captivity and dispersion of northern Israel by Assyria hundreds of years before.)
Commanding them to repent, believe in He Who Creates All Things and His Gospel first, and in He Who Creates All Things J'shua as containing all of the Godhead, anointed now to save all who believe, discipling men in that teaching (having them believe fully) and baptising or anointing people with the Holy Spirit Baptism for empowering. Water baptism is just a cleansing prerequisite for the immersion in the Baptism of the Spirit of He Who Creates All Things the Holy Spirit. A merely symbolic or ceremonial dipping makes for a nominal so called 'christian' lacking in power.
Who is it who is now our counsellor, comforter, Guide into All Truth, teacher, convincing of sin- the Holy Spirit! It is He who indwells us-and is also the spirit of J'shua.
J'shua is the Healer, Lord of Hosts, Captain of Salvation, Prince of Peace and the King of Kings.
Our closest Guide is the Holy Spirit.
The Holy spirit shares His gifts with us that we may converse with all of Godhead including Jehovah with the greatest intimacy and holy joy. He does not want pre-pared pretty words, he wants to hear our realest requests and deepest desires.
All believers are to be so anointed. That is what makes them belong to The Anointed One, as 'Christ' means anointed.

All the early believers Had the Commissioning anointing of the Holy Ghost Spirit. The apostle was more anxious that they receive The Holy Spirit than that they have John's Baptism.

Why is it that we lack this? We must have it to enter Heaven and the Millenial Kingdom

Johns Baptism is pre-christian, it is what Jews required of outsiders who desired to become Jewish converts: it symbolized a necessary cleansing and was largely traditional.
Johns use of it was ironic and deeply meaningful prophetically for he required the visiting Pharisees, who already thought themselves too 'holy' to bathe also! Thus he was telling them that not all who thought themselves Jews were really as clean as they thought in the eyes of He Who Creates All Things!
In fact all had better cleanse themselves just to prepare for the incoming immersion in the Holy Ghost! So Holy is the Holy Spirit! Yet the entire emphasis throughout is in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. None of the early believers have their water baptisms recounted to us. Yet several early accounts are given of the receiving of the Holy Spirit by those in the upper room, Cornelious, Paul, J'shua, and of those on whose account the apostle was most anxious, in Acts 19:6, for they had previously received Johns Baptism only.

The Entire Purpose of The Ministry of J'shua Was to Leave on Earth He Who Creates All Things the Holy Spirit. He Who Creates All Things the Holy Spirit indwells a Temple of Flesh: the true Church.
The meeting place must encourage the broadest possible expression of the Gifts of He Who Creates All Things the Holy Spirit. We must not grieve or quench the gifts of He Who Creates All Things theHoly Spirit.

Speaking against the True Church filled With He Who Creates All Things the Holy Spirit will never be Forgiven. That Church must be Sabbath Pentecostal preaching all correct Doctrine.

It is infallible collectively when functioning democratically in the full liberty of The Anointed One J'shua.
The way of the Holy Spirit is Hard, not easy, only constant secret prayer maintains the power of Gods gifts in our lives. Therefore I say to you 'Strive to get in, Work out your salvation from the lake of Fire, in fear of He Who Creates All Things, trembling at the wisdom and privelage to have been chosen.

It is not of ourselves we have been called to attend to the things of He Who Creates All Things. Away from mans system alone we hear the voice of He Who Creates All Things in The Anointed One J'shua in the Tongues of Angels.
